Nick Sturniolo Is The Only Out Gay Sturniolo Triplet
Appearing alone on the Zach Sang Show, without his brothers Christopher and Matthew, Nick shared that he didn’t realize he was gay until he figured out that a crush he had on a girl at age 14 was misdirection.
“The realization came when I thought I liked this girl, but I liked her boyfriend,” the TikTok star said with a laugh. “That’s when it hit me.”

Now 20, Nick mentioned that coming out was more complicated because of his close bond with Chris and Matthew.
“I don’t know how I tricked myself into thinking I liked her but being a triplet means people always say, ‘You guys are the same person.’ So, when I was the only one having gay thoughts, it felt unexpected.”
“No one stopped me from being myself,” he added. “I just thought I had to do what Matt and Chris were doing.”
Nick highlighted that understanding his sexuality was the first thing he experienced alone, not as one of the triplets.
“A key moment for me was when we were about nine. Matt, Chris, and I were together, and I said something negative about gay people.
“One of the moms on the trip heard me. She has gay kids and told my mom, ‘We should talk to your boys about why that’s wrong.’
“She doesn’t know how much that changed my thinking,” Nick admitted.
